Steven Drover et al. v. Argus Corporation Ltd. et al.

In this proposed Ontario class action brought by shareholders of Hollinger International Inc. and Hollinger Inc., we act for defendants Conrad M. Black, Barbara Black, and John Boultbee. The plaintiffs seek damages for, inter alia, alleged misrepresentations contained in public filings, breaches securities laws, and breaches of fiduciary duty. These claims have not been proven and this action, along with companion similar actions brought in the United States, Saskatchewan, and Quebec are subject to a conditional settlement agreement for which the parties are in the process of seeking court approval.
