Lerners Professional Regulation Group has a lengthy and accomplished history in professional regulation with both health and non-health professions. Our lawyers serve as Independent Legal Counsel to Discipline and Fitness to Practise Committees and we have represented both members and regulators in all manner of regulatory proceedings, including: investigations and inspections arising from complaints or other sources; practice assessments; quality assurance proceedings; discipline and fitness to practise hearings; illegal practice prosecutions; applications for registration and reinstatement; appeals to the Health Professions Appeal Board; and appeals and judicial review applications to the Divisional Court.
