Jamiel Perry recipient of Lerners Law Clerk Scholarship
We congratulate Jamiel Perry on being the recipient of Lerners Law Clerk Scholarship established to encourage and support students in the Law Clerk program at Fanshawe College. The scholarship is awarded to a full-time student at Fanshawe College who has completed the first year of the Law Clerk program; achieved a cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 3.5; demonstrated leadership skills and considerable initiative in the classroom and demonstrated ability for relationship building.
Jamiel is the first person in her family to graduate from a post-secondary institution. This is a tremendous achievement that has had a positive influence on her brother who graduated high school and is on his way to college because of her influence. It wasn’t all easy for Jamiel – a 2013 workplace accident left her husband in a wheelchair but Jamiel persevered and exceeded the average grade point average while helping friends and classmates along the way.
Congratulations, Jamiel, on this well earned Scholarship! We are delighted and proud to have you as a member of the Lerners team.
