Judge rules defendant can pay structured settlement broker fees
An Ontario Superior Court judge recently confirmed that a commission paid to the broker of a structured settlement can be claimed by a plaintiff as damages, London personal injury lawyer and OTLA president Maia Bent writes in Lawyers Weekly.
