Lerners Welcomes 4 New Associates

We’re pleased to welcome Alexandra Jockwig-Welsh, Carly Moore, Jeffrey Risdon and Lucy Sun as associates in our Toronto and London offices.

Alexandra has joined our Insurance Defence practice in Toronto. She graduated from the Dual J.D. Program at the University of Windsor and University of Detroit Mercy, and was an articling student at the firm.  She is a committee member of the Windsor chapter of the Women and the Law, and serves as a peer mentor at the University of Windsor.  Alexandra was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2020.

Carly has joined our Health Law and Plaintiff Personal Injury practices in Toronto. She obtained her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, and was an articling student at the firm. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the Toronto branch of the Women’s Legal and Education Action Fund (LEAF), and a former Executive Committee Member and Co-Founder of the Osgoode Survivors Peer Support Network at Osgoode Hall Law School. Carly was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2020.

Jeffrey has joined our Health Law and Commercial Litigation practices in London. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the Western University Faculty of Law, and was an articling student with the firm.  Jeffrey was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2020.

Lucy has joined our Commercial Litigation practice in Toronto. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the Queen’s University Faculty of Law, and was an articling student at the firm. She was a Legal Intern at the Urban Justice Centre in New York, and a Teaching Assistant at the Queen’s University Faculty of Law. Lucy was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2020.
