Blair v. Toronto Community Housing Corporation

Lerners represents Mustang Investigation Incorporated and Claims Pro Inc. in defence of a third party claim brought by Greenwin Management Incorporated. In the main action the residents of a building owned by Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC) and managed by Greewin allege negligence as against TCHC and Greenwin, based on a fire that broke out in the building. The plaintiff class are the residents of the building who have not settled their claims against the defendants. After the action was certified as a class action, Greenwin third partied Claims Pro, an adjusting firm, Mustang, an investigation and security company, and others, including the tenant who was allegedly hoarding papers and in whose unit the fire erupted.
