King v. Drabinsky and Gottlieb

Counsel for the plaintiff seeking to enforce a New York judgment in Ontario against defendants who argued that they had been unable to put forward a proper defence after invoking their Fifth Amendment rights not to incriminate themselves. After succeeding at first instance and on appeal, Lerners succeeded in resisting the defendants’ application for leave to appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada.
