Lerners Supports Feed-the-Heroes Initiative

March 24, 2021 – LONDON – Lerners LLP is proud to support Mohamad Fakih, CEO of Paramount Fine Foods in the delivery of hot meals for frontline workers in long-term care homes.

Mr. Fakih, having previously undertaken a similar program to deliver meals to LTC workers in Toronto, Hamilton and Niagara, is now bringing the program to London. Lerners partner Faisal Joseph has worked diligently over the last few weeks to raise more than $20,000 to support Paramount Foods in this charitable effort. The funds raised (which will cover thousands of meals) have come from the community, local businesses, Lerners, and CIBC. Donations towards this initiative can be made online at ltcfrontlinefood.com or to Islamic Relief Canada.

“I saw the incredible program that Mohamad and Paramount had developed and knew that Londoners would come together to support our valued long-term care workers,” said Faisal Joseph. “So far support has come from the London and Middlesex Muslim and non Muslim community, as well as the business community. This is a humanitarian effort for our community, to thank those on the frontlines caring for some of our most vulnerable citizens. I am thrilled with the support the program is receiving and that Lerners is able to be a part of it.”

Paramount Foods and Mr. Fakih will start delivering meals to three long-term care homes in London beginning this Wednesday, March 24th with more LTC homes and deliveries to be added over the coming weeks.
