Lerners LLP is pleased to announce that we have increased our litigation bench strength with the arrival of 10 new associates in our Toronto, London, and Kitchener-Waterloo offices.

Each of our new team members brings a combination of client-centered, solution focused, innovative thinking and legal expertise that will ensure our firm’s clients continue to be well served in the communities in which we live and work.

Anamaria Pasc has joined our Kitchener-Waterloo office as a member of the Family Law team. With significant experience litigating family law matters, she tirelessly advocates on behalf of her clients in order to assist them through their difficult life transitions, ensuring that their rights are protected, their voices are heard, and instills confidence in them while guiding them through the court process.

Christopher Dias has joined our Toronto office as a member of the Personal Injury group. Compassion is at the core of his services, as he knows what it feels like to fight against the odds and overcome adversity, and his background and life experience allow him to genuinely connect with his clients as he seeks to understand their needs and interests.

Matthew McGuckin has joined our London office as a member of the Commercial Litigation group. He maintains a diverse litigation and dispute resolution practice, focused primarily in the area of construction law, where he is able to draw upon his previous experience supervising major road construction projects to help his clients navigate the multitude of legal challenges they face on their own projects.

Marshall Dupuy has joined our Toronto office as a member of our Commercial Litigation and Class Actions groups. His practice focuses on litigation and dispute resolution in a wide range of areas, including representing plaintiffs and defendants in class action proceedings.

Michael Dunk has joined our Toronto office as a member of our Insurance Defence, Appeals, and Class Actions groups. His practice focuses on litigation and dispute resolution in a wide range of areas, including representing plaintiffs and defendants in class action proceedings.

Mitchell Brown has joined our London office as a member of the Commercial Litigation, and Health Law groups. His practice focuses on litigation and dispute resolution in a wide range of areas including medical negligence, professional regulation, workplace and human rights law, and commercial disputes. He works closely with clients to understand their needs and offer practical advice and solutions that help them resolve their legal problems in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Sahar El-Kotob has joined our London office as a member of the Personal Injury and Health Law groups. Sahar is a Canadian Lebanese immigrant and a first-generation lawyer, who actively serves her community in leadership positions dedicated to advocating for diversity, BIPOC communities and access to justice. She hopes to be an effective mentor to young racialized individuals who are interested in the legal profession, and looks forward to being part of a new legal era that serves all community members.

Stephanie Coppens has joined our London office as a member of the Personal Injury group. She works closely with clients to understand their issues and priorities to build successful strategies and solutions to help them achieve results that best meets their needs, spending as much time helping them navigate the legal issues as she does advocating for them.

Zachary Grace has joined our London office as a member of the Commercial Litigation, Health Law and Class Actions groups. His practice focuses on litigation and dispute resolution, from the defence of civil claims alleging negligence, business, contractual, and commercial disputes and tort claims, to representing plaintiffs and defendants in class action proceedings.

Zahra Vaid has joined our Toronto office as a member of our Insurance Defence, Health Law, Appeals, and Personal Injury groups. Her practice focuses on civil litigation and dispute resolution in wide range of areas.  Actively involved in the community, she is a volunteer with the Legal Services Coordination Pilot Program offered by Canadian Council of Muslim Women, which aims to provide culturally appropriate legal services coordination for Canadian Muslim women seeking legal advice and counsel to address their unique needs resulting from complexities related to Canadian and Muslim family laws.
