Cynthia Kuehl Elected to Board of Directors of the Advocates’ Society
Lerners is pleased to announce that Cynthia Kuehl, a Partner in our Toronto office, has been elected to the Board of Directors of The Advocates’ Society (TAS) for a four year term. TAS is a not-for-profit association of more than 6,000 judges, lawyers and advocates from all practice areas, and is Canada’s premier advocacy skills training provider and a voice of advocates across Canada.
Working with the TAS Executive Committee, Cynthia, along with 35 advocates from across the country, will play an essential role in ensuring that TAS continues to deliver on its mandate of promoting excellence in advocacy and the highest standards of professionalism, within a fair and accessible system of justice.
Cynthia has a wide civil litigation and appellate practice which includes commercial litigation and arbitration, public and administrative law, professional regulation and health law. She has held several leadership positions at the firm, including serving on the Executive Committee, and is a leader in the legal and larger community.
