Coverage for defence of bullying claim denied (Jennifer Hunter quoted)
A recent Ontario Court of Appeal ruling confirming that a homeowners’ insurance policy did not cover legal costs or damages for parents who had been named in a lawsuit alleging that their child had committed acts of bullying is a decision that correctly interprets the plain meaning of the policy, says Toronto insurance defence lawyer Jennifer Hunter.
