Christopher Dawson Wins Top 20 Under 40 Award

A partner in our London office and member of the Plaintiff Personal Injury Group, Chris Dawson is a passionate advocate for his clients both in court and negotiations. His files include significant claims involving million-dollar-plus cases and complex issues, both with respect to causation and damages. Appearing at all levels of court in Ontario, he appear before the Ontario Court of Appeal in Economical Mutual Insurance v. Caughy, setting new law in the area of insurance benefits for car accident victims, and he was successful in the trial decision of Jane Doe v. Sun Media, setting the highest known award in Canada for a breach of publication ban. Deeply committed to the community, both locally and globally, he’s an active volunteer or board member with Children’s Health Foundation, Spinal Cord Injury Ontario Southwestern Region, Kids Country Club: Parents of Technologically Dependent Children of Ontario, Brain Injury Association Sarnia-Lambton, Ontario Trial Lawyers for Veterans Pro Bono Program, and Golden Future – South Africa Development Project (founding member).
The Top 20 Under 40 Awards program evaluates nominees under several criteria, including business achievement, growth and development, industry innovation and community involvement, and recognizes young professionals for their impact in both the business landscape and the community at large.
