In this session, arbitrator Lisa C. Munro FCIArb, Q.Arb continues the discussion of 10 common mistakes made in arbitration, including: does it matter whether the domestic or international act applies?; inherent jurisdiction v power to maintain the integrity of the arbitration; admissibility v jurisdiction; the dangers of (some) shortcuts to save time and money; failing to participate, sitting on rights, waivers; counsel creating an arbitrator disqualification; and failure to make use of the benefits of arbitration.
