2nd Annual Leasing Seminar
On November 22, 2018, from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m., join Lerners LLP for breakfast at the London Club (177 Queens Ave.) and the 2nd Annual Leasing Seminar. Space is limited for this free event, which will be of interest to commercial landlords and tenants alike.
David Lyons will assess the latest developments in shopping centre leases, including a consideration of the risks for non-licensed cannabis retailers and landlords, while Nick Cummings outlines accessibility laws for Ontarians with disabilities and their implications in a commercial leasing context. David Woodward will then describe how a lease can secure financing for both landlord and tenants, before Clark Armstrong sets out recent cases – and best practices – involving the option to extend a lease’s term.
