Wolfe v. Wyeth 2013 ONSC 7867

Wolfe v. Wyeth 2013 ONSC 7867

In this dispute over the alleged receipt and misuse of confidential information in regard to a low dose hormone replacement therapy, Lerners acted on behalf of the plaintiffs on this motion to amend the statement of claim, including the correction of a misnomer. The plaintiffs’ motion was heard at the same as the defendant’s motion to strike the claim. The motions judge allowed the plaintiffs’ motion amending the statement of claim and dismissed the defendant’s motion that the claim should be struck on the basis that it did not disclose a reasonable cause of action.
