Sant v Sekhon
Posted March 4, 20162014 ONCA 623; Lerners represented the respondent in this appeal. The respondent was injured when a truck in which he was a passenger entered an intersection during a red light and was hit by a freightliner. At trial, the jury found both drivers negligent, apportioning 5% of the negligence to the driver of the freightliner and 95% to the other driver. The Court of Appeal dismissed the freightliner driver’s appeal, finding no grounds to intervene in the jury’s verdict.
