Join Lerners at the Honour Symposium
Family law lawyer Carolyn Lloyd is a panelist at the upcoming Honour Symposium on April 20th, 2018. Alternative Dispute Resolution has been growing in popularity as it allows people to reach an agreement outside of the public court system, with or without lawyers. This method has been noted as being more private, cost-effective and timely.
The Honour Symposium is a day of education focused on conflict resolution for breakdowns of marriage and cohabitation, and includes seminars on topics such as Tools for a Successful Mediation, Collaborative Law Team Approach, Parenting Coordination, and Improvisation for Better Communication.
The day will conclude with a special presentation of “Honour” by acclaimed Australian playwright, Joanna Murray-Smith. Honour explores the perspective of a wife, husband, daughter and lover as they navigate through a series of compelling confrontations to negotiate the forces of passion, love, history, responsibility and honour. This performance will be followed by a Panel discussion with Moderator – Hilary Linton, and panelists – The Honourable Mary Jo Nolan, Alfred Mamo, John Beaucage, Linda Mackay, David Morneau and Carolyn.
