Groia appeal in the public interest, says Cherniak
Toronto lawyer Joe Groia has defended his prosecution against a charge of incivility, not only for his own sake, but also in the public interest in the profession, Toronto lawyer and arbitrator Earl Cherniak recently told an Ontario Divisional court panel hearing Groia’s appeal, the Toronto Star reports.
